Why is it called a credit card pen? I might be showing my ignorance of turning, so please forgive me!

@Rahm: a credit card pen is the length of a credit card for easy storage in a wallet or purse. It is made on a standard 7mm mandrel (though the length of each barrel is much shorter). I get the kits from Penn State Industries: http://www.pennstateind.com/store/PKCCP.html
