Looking at a log and deciding what comes from where is the fun of this project, bookmatching and arranging knots and colors is like making a puzzle and putting it together, all using the same tree.

That’s a beautiful log. Most of the big cedars around here have rotten centers.

The table and chair look very nice. The grain and knots on the table top make a wonderful and very interesting pattern.

Nice work! I love the color in that table top. And the sculptural chairs are fantastic. Rustic and modern at the same time.
