many exotics have some serious toxic dust
best to work them with respirators
and even long sleeves
some have skin rash problems

wenge is really splintery i find
i just use it for multi color accents
like many exotics
(the cost justifies this too)

still a nice little box
keep on turning

what finish are you using

This looks good, I know what you mean with the sawdust. I forget what lumber it is, since I have only used it once, but I will know it when I see it, the dust on it was like straight chilli powder, you needed a mask, gloves and goggles just cutting it in the TS. My eyes still start to burn when I talk about it.

-- Martin ....always count the number of fingers you have before, and after using the saw.

Have your say...
