I hesitate to add this little 2 hour project but since I have estimated that by the end of my life this window tray should add another 3 years to my enjoyment of my backyard due to at least 1 million less trips back and forth from grill to kitchen, I thought it would be worth sharing!
I made it from a resawn and routed pine 2X4 with a floating base of left-over cedar. 2 quick coats of poly, some inexpensive hardware and and a shout to my wife to “bring a beer from the fridge to the window” and “Life Is Good”!

Great project, I encourage all 40k plus LJer’s to post all projects. Some of these are items we never thought about until someone posted, and in some cases we realize. ” hey that would work for me” nicely done and that cedar looks great.

Have your say...
