Mallet on left is first attempt at a mallet. It has cherry handle and some kind of mahogany that was reclaimed from a pallet.
The mallet on the right is all cherry. Soaked head in BLO for 4 days – hope this was long enough.

Nice Mallets, I am in the process of doing one myself, I hope its at least half as nice as one of these.
-- Martin ....always count the number of fingers you have before, and after using the saw.
