A Little Coffin?????

Need a little help here guys. I made this box out of plywood and pecan. Problem is that it looks like a sarcophagus. Anyone have any ideas what I can liven it up a bit with?????

It looks as if you have some places for crushed stone inlay.

I dont know, I think just a nice finish and it will be done. Sometimes simple is the way to go.

How about putting some feet on it? Have a play with curves, perhaps not quite Queen Ann style, just something that will lift it up and complement the shape that is already there.

Punch holes in each end and call it a Condo Birdhouse !
or make it and Egyptian box with phnix and things.
