I completed this project a few moths ago but have only recently joined lumberJocks so i decided to put this as a project as well. I did build this project from plans off TheWoodWhisperer’s website, this project was easy to build with simple joinery techniques. I used straight forward edge laminated pine for the body and other parts, normally edge laminated pine is quite expensive but i found luck on ebay, from a local seller who was selling big 2m x 2m boards for £15 each. I used a simple finish for this project just spray lacquer, i think about 6 coats to get a really thick high gloss layer.

Looks good Chad! I participated in that project as well. They are nice little rockinghorses and went for a good cause.

Great looking rocking horse, well done.
