Now that the shop is up and running, these ladderball towers made a quick and easy project for a Sunday morning. Nothing fancy, just basic 2×4 construction with a dado joint where the tower meets the base. Used the steel pipe from the church pews I picked up earlier and couldnt be more pleased.

Thanks to my buddy Ben for inspiring this fun project and lending a hand. If you havent heard of ladderball, youre missing out on a good time. Backyard fun on the cheap!

That’s a nice set up. I like the wood frame versus PVC. Good job. Thanks for posting.

I’d never heard of ladderball before you posted this project, so I Googled it. Looks like a fun game and you’ve done a great job with the ladders. Well done!

Thanks guys. I still need to put some sealant on but otherwise, it plays very well. Considerably stiffer than a pvc design but it makes it a bit more fun and challenging.

nice job, I will also google ladder ball, other than horse shoes and corn hole and lawn jarts, not sure how that’s spelled but anyways that’s been the extent of my outdoor gaming.
