This is just a simple cutting board I made for my mom. It is made from hard maple strips. This is a very simple plan design and hope to make a nicer one in the future. The handle didn’t go as smooth as I planed with the burn marks but it should do for now. Thanks for looking at this, and please leave any tips or comments!

Nice joinery
Just a suggestion that works for me:
Make your handle openings more of an oval that with square corners.
You can keep your router moving better that way and it seems to cut down on the burning.

You can remove burn marks by wrapping a piece of sand paper around a piece of dowel that fit’s the inside radius. Nice first CB.

Simple but effective, I think this came out nice.
