wife asked me this week for a porch swing,so,a few hour later this is what i came up with. just 1 x pine for frame and and strapping for the slats

-- may not always be right,but,never in doubt.

hi todd. i cheated! my father in law had a template for another outdoor seat and i based it on that,along with the angle of the back piece

Nice swing, I am designing one myself, I like the fact that its a contoured seat, nice design integrity.

-- Martin ....always count the number of fingers you have before, and after using the saw.
