Thanks to all for the kind comments and support. A few of you have asked about the poem so here we go! Please keep in mind that I’m a wood worker first, and only dabble in the realm of poetry. Thanks again.
Dragon Demenor !
Old and heavy, lazy yet quick!
Ancient scares and wisdom hold his temper in check.
Crossing him follows a swift crack of the tail. With shimmering shining green iridescent scales.
Followed by a slow one eyed smile.
He will still your life, He will eat your wife! With kittens and rice.
Bore him not with morality of man.
Its action and virtue, loyalty and craft he understands.
Its Philosophy and music. A good tale or nice chat.
Over whiskey and peanuts. If your lucky a back scratch!
With good friend or wing man. Man or beast.
Its knowledge and joy, culture and treats.
These things he covets.
These things we seek!
So pour him good whiskey, he will breath you some fire.
come one come all good men.
Come never the lire!

He will steal your life. He will eat your wife, with your kitten and your child?
That is in-freakin-sane work. The poetry isn’t bad either.
