Hola senors y senoritas!
We are having our first annual Cinco de Mayo party this year. Complete with Pinata, smoked beer can chicken, smoked pulled pork, and cerveszas!
When my friend and I are were sitting in the shop last night we realized we didn’t have anything good to whack the pinata with. A couple hours later and some cervezas (after the power tools). It was born. A 2×2 knocked down on the TS, a good bit of sanding on the belt sander, some masking tape, left over paints, a sharpie and some crayola markers, clear coat, and paste wax.
My friend did the handy artwork on the middle of the bat (neither of us has a knack for drawing)
I decided I better make a wrist strap for this thing as tequila, spinning, and swinging sound dangerous together. I quick wove a strap out of some parachute cord I had in the shop.
Poor little guy will never see it coming…And if you are curious as to whats inside, I can’t give all the surprises away but there may be some small plastic 1oz “cups”
Happy Cinco de Mayo fellow American Wood Workers!

I like the grip, and the paint job looks good. Might be better to beat away the crowds on Black Friday, LOL
