My wife wanted a new hamper. So I made her one. I know it looks rather large, but that’s by design. I used 100 lbs capacity drawer slides. The ends of the top has a breadboard finish. The hamper is built out of poplar and poplar veneered plywood for the drawers. The exterior of the project is stained with ebony coloured stain and the whole thing has a few coats of polyurethane. The frame is held together with mortise and tennon joints and reinforced with 3/8” dowels. The side and back panels fit into grooves. Thanks for looking and have fun woodworking.

Wow! How many clothes do you have man? Seriously it’s very nice, I wish my wife wanted one, instead she wants a laundry chute, more renovation work on my list.
