These are some raised garden beds I made for the wife. Pretty simple design, there is (4) 8’x4’ boxes around a small octagon herb garden in the middle. It is all made of 8/4 cedar planks with one live edge for looks. It is nice to have a Woodmizer LT40 to cut my own slabs to do this kind of work. The pictures of us milling are some older pictures that I took when we were milling up some cedar fence boards.

I like the fact that you kept the live edge, now lets see what she can grow.
-- Martin ....always count the number of fingers you have before, and after using the saw.

That is so funny that you commented on my post! Your bench/picnic table project you did inspired me to build some of them for around my fire pit. I’m milling up the cedar to build them this weekend.

Nice but I would of used old pine and saved the cider for other works I like it for tables and People buy it up

One of my best friends has a mill exactly like yours. As your photos show, it does a great job….. It’s always “good” to have a friend with a saw mill.
