Not often do I woodburn, but sometimes my artistic side comes out. I burned the plane on a 1/4” sheet of pine, and made the frame with some Poplar scraps I had lying around in the shop. Stained it with a walnut colored stain and finished it with four coats of clear. I used this plane as a warm up burn before wood burning an image of my sons as a birthday gift to my wife.

That’s a great looking burn job. Freehand or did you follow a pattern? The frame looks really nice as well.
