My meager entry: Egg Table

Plans are mostly from naked whiz, but added some items I saw in other photos like the plastic bin slide out draws.

pressure treated wood so I can maybe decide what I like and possibly rebuild in a few years out of another wood. Stain is cedar tone which I think came out pretty good.

Great work, I almost bought one of these a while ago. I like your set-up.

I’ve seen a couple of these before and a bunch of overpriced pieces in local stores. Yours came out great, I like the stain n the pressure treated stuff looks really good.

This is very cool! This would be a great gift for my brother, as he recently got one of these pits. What is it that the Egg sits on? Thanks for sharing!

Egg table is on my to-do list. There is one out of metal at my local egg dealer for $1600 so making one would be a lot cheaper ;)

I like the design, especially the cutting board. I added a bracket to the side to accommodate extra light at the Egg. Never can have too much light near a grill.

a friend of mine in alaska bought an egg, that thing was heavy…....i really like the table you have made for this, you will really enjoy it, maybe the next one can be made out of ipe…or something like that, it would hold up really well, enjoy your summer cook outs now…

pound-

Lighting is in the future, some some tables with an outlet in them, but I hope to build an at grade deck with a cover over my egg and grill area. I was going to put a light in there. A temporary light on my table may be needed though.

I had planned to build a cabinet into the table, but settled on the slide out bins which work nicely. I am going to build an outdoor cabinet to go next to my grill area so I can store a plastic bin with charcoal and the other eggseccories (pizza stone, stc.)
