Mahogany and Curly Maple music/jewelry box

Here are some picts of my 2nd box. I used left over curly maple from my 1st box and mahogany. This box has a 30 note music movement and a velvet ring bar. This was also the first time I have used decorative banding. I have been wanting to use that for years! Hinges are brusso and might be a little too small for this box- I like the back mortise style better I think.

That beautiful,I love the curly maple on top, such a great looking wood.

-- Martin ....always count the number of fingers you have before, and after using the saw.

Very Sharp, for a second box, that’s a wonderful project, we all are our best/worst critic, so don’t be too hard on Yourself, You have done a Great job on this, thanks for sharing
