This was my sister’s baby shower gift when she was pregnant with my neice. I decided to try something different. I have been making toyboxes for kids because every child needs a toybox. I have posted one of my toyboxes in my projects. It is made out of pine, and painted with acrylic paints. I have to give my wife the props because she did an amazing paint job on it. The plan is from cherry tree toys. I was time consuming scroll sawing all the parts and the painting took even longer. It was well worth it when you see kids play with things that you have made. When it is wound up, it plays Jesus Loves Me and spins around. I was just amazed that it actually turned like a real carousel.

Very nice. I am sure that the kids will get a lot of use out of this. It looks solid enough to withstand all the abuse they can throw at it. This is a toy that every child would love to have.

Thanks for the post.
