A bundle of ten bamboo sections, average height 16”, hot glued together and wrapped with hemp rope. The rope was heavily coated with latex wall paint to make it kinda smooth before the whole assembly was sprayed with dark green auto basecoat, followed by spraying gold pearl from the top down and on the rope. The top coat is gloss acrylic solvent lacquer. The base is a round of cherry with a lacquer clear coat.
Thanks for looking.

That’s a pretty unique design, using the paint to smooth the rope was out of the box thinking. Very nice.
-- Martin ....always count the number of fingers you have before, and after using the saw.
