Beauty! I learned much by looking over your link.
Can you share more about the details of how you made the link and where the information in the link is stored. I guess I don’t know enough about how to attach the instruction part of your presentation to be able to ask an intelligent question about it, but … how would I do something similar if I EVER had something as wonderful as you did to share?

Thanks guys. As for HOW to post those links, I’m only just getting the hang of it with the help of instructions printed out from Joe’s post explaining” how to” I’m sure that Joe will see your request and knowing what a great guy he is, will re-post the instructions here.
One thing that I’m finding difficult to deal with on this forum is that many members do not use a first name, which makes it so impersonal, it doesn’t even have to be one’s genuine name but it’s so much nicer to answer a post by saying: ” thanks John etc.” rather than: “thanks blockhead 97” !

When I click the link, all I get is a Google Docs login page.

You’re the first to have that problem and I’m out of my depth, perhaps one of our computer literate members, perhaps Joe will offer a solution. Because only six photographs are allowed and my “how to” threads contain anything up to 60+, they unfortunately have to be stored off-site. Believe me, compared to the simple on site storage and method of posting that I’m used to on another forum, this really is off putting for me but I’m persevering thanks to other forum members’ help.

Here is the Link to the 'How To' that Harry alluded to...
Hope it helps you.
I have not had the experience that TheDane, Gerry, has had…
The only thing I can think of is that maybe you need to Register, etc. for a Google Account, which gives you a Gmail email address, youtube access, and other things. It’s FREE.
If you get the same problem on ALL of Harry’s Google.doc links, you might try it to see if it makes a difference.
I’m curious if anyone that Can view Harry’s Links, can do so WITHOUT being Registered with Google, gmail, etc.?

I have had a Google account for several years, but never use it.
Once I logged in, I could view Harry’s docs just fine.

Gerry, very good! Glad you got it to work!
I don’t know, but… is there a Remember Me option, where as soon as you go there, it logs you in?
If so, that might be something to do… to avoid more problems into the future?
At least you know what to do TO SEE IT!
GOOD!
Thank you.

Sorry Harry,
I don’t want to follow links from the LJs site to something else in order to see a project. Please, just post it here.

OK, at last the penny has dropped, LJ..Lumberjocks. If only I could post pdf’s directly I’d be VERY happy, but the site does not allow it and only six photographs can be included in a post, and my projects have far more than that.

Aha, as they say. You can post six pics in the boxes, which you know. What you didn’t know is, you can embed as many as you want in the body of a comment. So, post the six, make a comment to introduce the progress pictures and embed away (use the little chain looking icon above your comment typing box). Everybody can then see them. Problem solved.
Thanks,
-- Jim
