This guy is handcarved from Apple wood. One day about 15 years ago a limb fell out of my mother-in-law’s Apple tree. This guy poped out like a genie from a bottle and said ” Bring it on. ” , so I took it home and low and behold a few days later, I found him. He stands close to 8” tall. He’s a friendly fellow.
Thanks for viewing!

I have to try carving something like this someday . He looks pretty good, a bit of a far away stair but I guess if you where stuck in side of a chuck of wood for all those years you would be a bit bewildered for a while after seeing the world through someone else’s eyes :)

David;
That’s incredible!
You have quite an imagination to come up with that!
Not to mention the talent to accomplish it.

David,
You have a wonderful imagination. I simply would have seen a piece of firewood. But you saw the inner beauty of the wood.
Thanks for the post.
