That’s a cool look. How did you join the thick slab corners together? Dowels? Mortise and tenon?

@BTimmons – Its actually 3/4” pieces joined with dados and rabbits with face frames on the front and back. The bottom is a single piece all the way through. The rest is built around that.
@doncutlip – I would love to take credit for the style or the design, but they were both my cousin’s choices. He gave me the general idea of what he wanted it to look like and I figured out how to build it. His choice of wood species was very good. They look great together.
