Padauk with a taste of Yellowheart.
This is the last box I am finishing before the Jazz Fest Show I am doing this coming week. It has been a marathon and a fun one. I am really looking forward to the show and can hardly wait.
If anyone is going to Jazz Fest on the 3rd – 6th of May stop on by. I will be in the Louisiana Marketplace.

-- If retiring is having the time to be able to do what you enjoy then I have always been retired.

Another nicely carved box with beautiful wood, Nice job, and have fun at the Jazz Fest, judging from Your prolific production as of late, You definately deserve a break, Great job, thanks for sharing

Another nice one Greg…... good luck at the Jazz fest…. I’d go but it’s just a bit of a drive from Sunny California!

This one is very handsome. It’s kind of under-stated with just the contrasting lid handle. I like it!

Another fantastic “Greg Box”. Send us some pics from the Festival and your booth. I’ll be calling you for a loan when you get back as I’m sure you are going to get ‘fat’. Have some fun and eat some gumbo for me!

Greg, what can be said? Another amazing box. Your control in working those curves inspiring. Each time I see a new one, it pushes me to work even harder at my box. I hope you do really well at the show and have a great time. As stated above I would also be interested in some pictures of your booth and maybe a blog on your experience at the Jazz Fest.

thank you everyone..My wife and I are really looking forward to the Jazz Fest this weekend. Iti is a 2 week show and I am displaying in the second weekend. I am one of only 60 artists who were chosen for this weekend I just heard that there were over 300,000 people there this past weekend and it was a 3 day show. WOW…

This week it is a 4 day show. I am having so much fun getting ready for this show that I feel happy as a termite in a pile of sawdust…
I am taking my camera and hope to get some good photos and will post them when I return.

That is a beautifully carved box, very fluid, the way the sides, top & front all flow into each other. Great job.
