Well this project took me 10 months to build but I finally got it finished for my wife in time for christmas 2006.
The picture didn’t come out to well but you can get the idea. It is made out of red Oak as usual, the 2 back pieces are made from sanded birch plywood which was a heck of a lot cheaper than finished Oak would have been. There is a low voltage light inside the top to display what’s on the shelves and in the bottom there are 2 shelves for storage.

This is a very nice cabinet. I have been wanting to build one of these for some time now. Your post definately gives me some inspiration.

Thanks for the post.

Hello BHhuddah, I like your corner cabinet, I also love working with Oak. What color of stain did you use on this piece, very nice color. I also have my little basement shop. I’ve added you to my Buddies list….If you don’t mind. Glad to hear all is well with your son. Mine is down at Bragg now training for his up-coming deployment to Afghan. See you were in the Crouch, I retired in 90, from SRIG, I MEF, Camp Pendelton. Wishing you and yours the best…..SEMPER FI…..and your brother in woodworking JOHN

Great looking corner cabinet. You did a very nice job on this. I always enjoyed making corner cabinets. If you care to look on my sight, the one I really enjoyed making was corner gun cabinet. Thanks for posting.

God Bless
tom

Great cabinet. It’s a great way to use space.
