First attempt the band saw box. I messed up a few before getting it right. Very simple design and this was tons of fun to make. Made of scrap poplar and mahogany from my dad. Finished with vegetable oil.

Awesome looking box. I like that it breaks away from the typical organic forms band saw boxes usually have.

Does vegetable oil every go rancid or spoil?

Thanks for the comments! I really am getting into this stuff. I did hear the vegetable oil may go bad, but would it work if it was sealed with clear? Thanks again!
