This chair was upholstered and had a back brace in a western theme. I discussed this chair in my blog earlier today. It has made me gain a level of respect for furniture restorers. Watco oil and Minwax finishing paste wax were used to finish. Satisfactory comes from the beauty of the wood and not how frustrating it was due to my lack of experience with furniture.

Good job. You stuck with it and ended up with a nicely restored chair.

Thanks for the post.

Very nice restoration of the chair. Salutes to your patience. Motivates me to do some restorations.
