I guess you COULD say that this was maybe my first project, though it was completed about two months ago. It took a slight revision underneath to replace the slats and I also shortened it up a bit. I’ll say that this is a farmhouse style bed frame, mostly because I have no idea what style it actually is other than mine.
This was made completely from dimensional wood, except for the panels in the foot and head boards. They are actually glued up spruce/pine sheets.

A belated welcome to LJs. Good job on the bed, and I agree with Martin. Sometimes it looks like I work with wood just for an excuse to cuss.
