Hi All,

Man, you guys are good! Hope my liquor cabinet rates.

I built this for a friend a couple months ago. The pictures do not show the adjustable shelf I installed in the top portion of the cabinet.
Carcase is made from 3/4 oak ply. Face frame, top, doors, drawer face, shelf and decorative moldings are all solid oak. The thing weighs a ton !
The trickiest part was building the wine bottle storage section at the bottom. It basically consists of slotted oak ply pieces that slide into each other. Turned out pretty good. But tons of work.
The drawer is dovetailed and has different compartments for storing various openers, jiggers, etc.
Heck, what do I know about liquor, I don’t even drink!

The glass doors at the bottom allows my buddy to show off his collection. Since I was new at building glass doors, the third set made it to the cabinet. The rest were used in the stove.

The whole thing was built from plans I drew up with SketchUp. I use the SketchUp cutlist plug-in to help estimate materials.

The project took me a month to build.

Hope you enjoy this lil project of mine.

Great project. Glad to see you got the importance of having a drawing of any kind to work from! And it was your own.
