This is an American Girl dolls school desk. Made of pine and stained a light walnut. I still need to install the hinges for the top of the desk.
This is from the book “Making Furniture and Dollhouses for American Girl Dolls” by Dennis Simmons. I like the book and it’s detailed patterns however I feel that a little more instructions could have been given in assembling the projects. Still a great book.
This one will go to the craft store where I sell my scrollsaw projects BUT I am very sure that I will be commissioned to make one of these for my granddaughter – SOON.

These are really nice, Jerrell! My daughter had the baby American Girl doll and she just loved it. I was just starting to do scroll sawing when she was little, but she would have loved to have something like this. I am sure your granddaughter will too!
