The woods that I used in this project are Yellow Heart, Wenge, Zebrawood, and Red Heart. Also there two drawers, front and back I don’t know why, but I should have pulled both drawers out, the one drawer is on top of the other, If you look close on one photo you can actually see the back of the other drawer from the one pulled out.

that is a beautiful chess set ,the wood types,the finish just stunning .that would be sitting in my living room in a display case. love the chest men too . great job

Magnificant chess board box!Nice choice of woods.Unfortunatelly, here in Croatia we don’t have such choice of woods in wood shops and if there is a choice you can buy only large amounts for profesionals.Not small amounts of woods for amteurs like me.So I’m limited to firwood,oak and walnut.

very nice. Like the stacked opposite drawer design. nice looking clean shop too.

That is a beautiful chess set. I like the drawer concept. I like the pieces, because of the detail work.
