Stitched Coffee Table

I designed this coffee table to look like it was stitched together. The top and bottom are oak, the apron and legs are cherry, and the inlays are mahogany and cherry.

I like the natural edges of the boards so I kept them. The shelf on the bottom did not have a natural edge so I designed curves that resembled a river. Don’t know why, just looked cool to me.

This was my first table I built.

I really like the design and it turned out very well. You did a nice job on all the bowties.

this is a really nice table, many elements bring it all together and really make it quite unique, your imagination went well with this, even down to the bottom board being given curves like a river, great job here.

Bravo! If you crossed Frankenstein with Mother Nature, I would imagine the result would look like this table…in a very good way. All jokes aside, this is a beautiful piece that is right up my alley. Keep up the unbelievable work.
