I started drawing the other day and came up with this design for a new band saw box…( I love making these things….made 4 different designs this week) I used Koa to make the box and cut out round pulls from the same wood. Each drawer is cut in half inside and I still have to add felt to the drawers. Coated with 4 layers of Laquer so far. Sized at 12” wide X 4” deep X 6” tall.

Another nice bandsaw project of beautiful wood. How about adding some pics with the drawers open as I’m not sure I understand the “cut in half” part?

I know this post has been around for awhile, but I just noticed that gfadvm asked about the “cut in half” drawers. There are only three drawers and the cut lines (about 1/8” deep) just reminded me of a old chest we had when I was a kid…and yes, the cut lines were supposed to be off…same as that old chest. Sorry, but I don’t have other pictures of the box, and I have sold it some time ago.
