We have decided to change some things around on our deck and make it more of a conversation area then a dining area. This is the first piece I have decided to tackle since I needed some extra space by the grill. It is made completely of pressure treated wood to hold up and weighs a ton ( so not worried about it walking off or blowing away) as you can also see I used my Kreg Jig a lot in this project. One thing I really like about this project is that DW got involved and did the tiling, I love projects that we can work together on.

Thanks for looking, I am looking forward to putting it to good use soon.

CIC = consider it copied!

Love the poket joining too! I have a jig myself and have kept putting off using it.

Question….Did you use outdoor/deck srews in the pockets of the screws kreg sells?

Simmons, Please feel free to copy away. It would be great to have a copy with a home in one of my favorite places. I grew up in South Jersey and loved camping and driving thru the Pine Barrens. Hope the weather up there is not doing a number on the fire season right now.

I used standard Kreg Screws, the short ones were none coated but the 2 1/2” ones are blue coated.

Look forward to seeing yours.
