Do your cabinets have that utterly useless half-shelf on the bottom too? A little experimentation with a hand-me-down dado blade, and I was on mama’s good list for quite a while…

LOL, have at it. If there were provisions to upload plans and cutlists here, I would. I’m too afraid of screwing up not to draft nearly everything in sketchup, and then assemble it in 3d to make sure I didn’t have any brain farts. This on the other hand was about fifteen minutes of sheer pleasure while I played with the donated wobble dado.

very nice. I did similar device only used 2 = 1/4” dowels, 7” long per lid.

I like your solution..I have the same problem. I am going to install pull outs and thanks to the previous post, now I know how the do the upper draw to hold the lids! Thanks
