I built this for my Mother in law. It is made from Cherry sapwood. Shelves are joined with dadoes. Top is attached with screws and plugged. The back is 1/4 inch thick resawn boards interlocking with rabbits with gaps at the joints to allow for wood movement. Holes are predrilled at 16 inch centers for mounting to the wall. Finish is BLO cut 2:1 with mineral spirits and 2 coats of spray varnish.

Looking good, plus it can’t hurt to score points with the in-laws!
