I made this at home last century in the year 1999 age 14, to house my playstation 2 console and all the games.
no fancy joinery just screws. Coated with a hard sealer. For the past nine years tho it has been sitting out the back garden growing cacti and seedlings. Its held up very well considering.

Thought i would shear this project as a laugh, because who would have thought even 4 years ago letter-lone over a decade ago my passion would be furniture design and making. Its funny how things change.

Know what you mean. The Adirondack chair I made in shop class back in ‘95 is still in perfect condition. In fact my mom uses it almost every day.

I think I know what you mean too. When I look at my very early stuff I usually (but not always) cringe. Good memories in a way and now I’m about 75,000 hours into it. I wanted to be an architect and now I build for them. Your piece still looks good considering the weather.
