This item was built for a school auction with the idea that it would have good bones and the winning bidder could personalize it with their choice of custom lattice work and finish. Made entirely from cedar lumber I hacked a couple of designs found online, had fun with grid paper, and then hacked some lumber up. I had lots of help to move the monster and lots of positive comments that really made me happy. The winner chose a great design for the lattice work which made for a lot of measurements that my older kiddo was more than happy to provide the math on. In the end the project really challenged me to develop some new skills, acquire some new tools (duh!) and went to a great family.
