I made this to give to my brother-outlaw, he is being inducted into the Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame this weekend. Cedar and pine star made from recycled fence boards. Mounted on 24” square oak plywood. Letters are Poplar stained with Minwax Special Walnut, and finished with Deft Clear Satin.

that’s awesome,beautiful with the wood grains and different wood. lots of angle cut .great job he’ll love that. you should post a picture of one of his rides ,use to rodeo way back in the day.to be honored into the hall of fame is special. look like those 50 yr.old tool still put out some fine craftsmanship

Thanks Pdub and eddie, my brother in law used to Bulldog in the RCA/PRCA now he mainly works the rodeos as chute boss and stuff like that. He has worked the National Finals a few times I think.

I was a Bullrider years ago. I used to watch those guys at the rodeo and wonder how they could jump off a horse that was running at full speed and walk away like it didn’t hurt. LOL
