Project Information

This is a silver chest that I made for my wife for Christmas. It is made from wood that I got from a pallet. I think that it is Lacey Oak. It has a cluster of grapes inlaid on the top. Grapes are kingwood and the leaves are wenge. The corners are mitered and splined with cocobolo. Finished with Tung oil

Thanks to all who took a second to view my project. This was my first post and I must say I was nervous to have my work viewed by ??? number of people but what a great experience. Im glad that I joined Lumber Jocks. What a great place to get ideas and inspiration. Thanks again.
