Reminds me of my favorite cake flavor…Lemon and Chocolate. Yummy….
Actually it is only Wenge and Yellowheart…

Your ability to match the perfect woods has rivaled your sculpting skills. I can’t decide which to attend to. Thanks for the headache!!! Maybe I can see the whole box if I look enough.

Another beautiful “Greg” box. I know who made these as soon as I see them. Is this one finished?

Thanks. It is just alot of fun to keep making these boxes and I hope the creative juices keep flowing. This combination of wood surprised me because I didn’t think I would like it before I started shaping it. I took the photos without a finish because I am experimenting on some scraps to see what will give me the finish I like for the Wenge since it normally seems to come out way too dark for my personal taste.

Okay Greg, I will admit that I’ve seen many of your awesome projects but possibly from being a bit intimidated didn’t comment on hardly any of them if any at all. So, can you tell me what you’re using to make something like this? Is it strictly carving tools, or are you a master at tiny chain saws or dremels? I don’t mean to make a joke at all about this but I seriously am amazed on how you do this.
Thanks for any info you can provide so that I might try out this technique.
Have a great night!

I like this as a change to your highly shiny finished ones.
