That is just gorgeous. I will confess that I would have seen only a piece of driftwood. I could never have envisioned must less released an eagle in the piece of wood.

Very cool, I’m working on a driftwood craving now, but will have to put a side for a while I have to have wrist surgery, I did an eagle out of drift wood that got incorporated into a newel post for a friend in CT. I really like how you have the light and the dark in your piece its a very nice contrast.
