I have been trying to finish turn some projects this week. I got to this one last night. It is about 14-15” wide and aprox. 6” tall. It is spalted ambrosia maple burl and has a couple of large voids. It is finished with walnut oil and has been sanded to 400 grit. Thanks for looking. Russell

Beautiful piece of wood. Nice turning. It seems lucky to be together. Did you power sand it or hand sand it?

Not for the amateur, It could be scary….................As far as I am concerned the voids make it very special. Hope my wife doesn’t see it.
