The other day Robert brought me a box of his cut off wood. I used it today to build this board. It took some time to do after I put four different layouts together then I cut them into small boxes and laid it out and glued each box together. It is 8” by 13” no real reason for the pattern just thought I would try it.

That’s a really cool cutting board. I like your pattern more than most of the checkerboard patterns. It looks great!

Dennis, I was just loaning the wood to you. I want it back now!! Nice job. It is probably a good idea to use the long strips to tie it together for stability. Now, name those woods. LOL

Ok Robert very pretty wood lol Does that cover it???? I am not sure of three of the woods. But Walnut/ Maple/
Yellow Heart/ Purple Heart/ Big leaf Maple/ and I don’t know LOL just great free wood thanks to you.

Nice board. That pattern is nice to me because its so crazy. You definitely have a one of a kind with this one. Very nice work…..................and some super-nice wood too.

Nice board. I like the design.
I am not educated in this but, just off the cuff, I would say there’s a mid century modern feel to it.
It is cool, thanks for sharing it.

Dennis: I see a nice pattern rescued from the scrap pile. I have sold all my scrap pattern CB’s.
You should not have a problem selling it.
