I was building this for a Lady that wanted the wood to have as many knots as I could find. As I was finishing it up she called and wanted it to be 60” wide (this one is 44”). She also wanted to see if I could make it taller, so the older people could get out of it a little easier. To make a long story short, I made a phone call to another couple that ordered a bench to see if they were ready for a beautiful bench. The feeling to see someone just as excited over your work as you are is priceless.

Nicely done. Good looking bench.
-- Mother Nature created it, I just assemble it. - It's not ability that we often lack, but the patience to use our ability

Nice work, and a nice save! I take it you will have a contract for the first customer, this time? Looks like you let her off the hook with all those late changes.

Thank you! This bench took about 8 hours total. I used a Red Mahogany and 2 coats of Lacquer. I did let the customer off the hook, BUT she is also the one who pays the invoices I send in from my business. Can’t make her mad! LOL! Thank you guys for your nice comments, means the world to me!
