Hi guys and gals, this only came about as my stepson started going to church and it gave me something to do to get started back in to making things ( been a couple of years since i properly picked up my tools).

It is a Pine cross with a 12×5mm Cedar inlay

Oh, the vast beauty of the Cross!

I really like the idea! Maybe it needs a little tweaking (alignment) right in the middle where the two parts meet? But you’ve really managed to get that cedar to fit snugly into the dado/groove. Are you thinking about finishing it? If so, what will you use? Oil, varnish?

Cool! =)

Yeah the work on the cross was no simple thing! Nice work.

Hey guys thanks for the comments, really appreciate then. yes there are alignment issues with the centre section, bit will have another go later on. As for the finish on it i was thinking an oil rather than varnish. Will post more pictures when i’ve sone that part.
