Picked the set up in garage sale ,Yes it was the natural oak and high gloss finish, decided to strip it all and applied a fast Dark Walnut fast application and rubbed off within seconds to give it a older look .Then did trim in pale green and maroon chairs. Yes it will be sold

I like the color combo/s. I don’t like “re-finishing” tho, myself.

Refinishing is a good past time .I used to restore masonry buildings when i was younger so I got into a habit to try make them like new so I guess furniture is same
