The wine cabinet pictured is made from red oak with a MinWax Red oak stain topped with Satin polyu.
All of the components had to be stained/varnished prior to assembly to ensure even stain and top coat top to bottom and front to back.

Very nice piece. It always takes a lot of patience and planning to pre-finish everything before assembly. I wish I had that kind of patience.

Craig,

So this is the second project of yours where I thought… I wonder if he has some sketch-up plans or something that he would not mind sharing. Both are very nice projects! (Other one is the sewing box)

Did you make this from a plan or create it yourself? Or maybe my wife sent you an email and told you exactly what she wanted me to build?!? :)
