I can’t remember which woodworking magazine I saw this mallet in but I figured it sure beat the heck out of paying for one. the outside of the mallet is black walnut and the handle is white oak.

This is beautiful. It would be a wonderful addition to any shop. But to tell you the truth I couldn’t bring myself to bang on my chisels with it. It would be almost too painful, mentally, scaring up a gorgeous mallet like this. :)

Great looking mallet!!! Does the Oak run all the way through to the end of the mallet, can you see the oak on the end?
