CORNER CURIO

Project by Ray Lepagnol posted 606 days ago 252 views 1 time favorited 8 comments Add to Favorites Watch

THIS PAST WINTER HAS GIVEN US RECORD SNOW FALL, BROKEN ON 2/6/08 WITH 127”.

EVEN THOUGH THE CALENDAR SAYS THAT SPRING IS HERE IT HAS NOT STOPPED SNOWING!!
GOOD FRIDAY BROUGHT US FIVE INCHES.
MONDAY THREE INCHES AND TONIGHT THE FORCAST CALLS FOR FOUR TO SEVEN INCHES!!

THIS HAS REALLY CRAMPED THE WOODWORKING, SHOVELING, SNOW BLOWING , SHOVELING THE ROOF (TWICE) THEN A LITTLE MORE SHOVELING.

ENOUGH ALREADY!!!

I DID MANAGE TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT FOR MY WIFES COLLECTION OF CERAMIC BEARS.
SOLID OAK, RAIL AND STYLE DOOR AND I EVEN CUT ALL OF THE MIRROR AND GLASS—-I’LL ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES TO DO THAT FROM NOW ON.
THE FINISH IS MINWAX DARK WALNUT AND SPRAY DEFT LACQUER.

Great looking cabinet. Corner cabinets are a great way to fill up wasted space.

Ray,

This is a very nice curio cabinet. You did a good job on it. It looks a lot like my first project that I started about 10 years ago. I never did get around to completing it and it now sits outside on the deck as a plant stand. Needless to say yours turned out a lot better than mine.

Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful! Nice design too. I like the moulding detail at the top the way it is mitered to the wall.
