Stepping stool out of used pallet

Had a pallet with a plywood top. And Mrs. kept asking for a stepping stool.

So here is the outcome. No paint / varnish applied yet.

Tools used: mainly jigsaw, some table saw. Joint using mostly dowels, some screws on the back. Hearts glued on.

P.s. I borrowed the carrying handle idea from another project here on LJ, though it did not have a heart on top :)

Nice save from what otherwise would have been trash. These are the best projects in my opinion. I need one of these at work because it is the only way I’ll get a “raise”.

You scored!
Mrs. happy; reclaimed pallet wood; and it kept you off the street for a day or so.

I really like that design you cut out of the back. Nice, very nice.

This is a lovely use of wood and a great functional piece.
Nice design elements and a homestead pleaser too; an all rounder I’d say.
